It is Winter in Grand Junction, but the cold weather and snow does not mean you can’t get outside and enjoy nature and all the beauty the Valley has to offer. Enjoy seeing the beautiful red rock canyons and stunning towering monoliths at the iconic Colorado National Monument. Grab your Winter hiking clothes, and your family and friends and plan a memorable day hiking trails including Devil’s Kitchen, No Thoroughfare and Liberty Cap Trails. For those wishing to take a shorter hike the popular Coke Ovens trail is recommended. Hikers often see bighorn sheep and eagles soaring high above.
