If the answer is yes, then it is seriously time to reconsider and get your home on the market ASAP. Here are 4 mistakes that should be avoided when selling your home this Winter.*Image courtesy of Domesticaclean.comWaiting to list your homeOne of the biggest mistakes you can make is trying to perfectly time when to list your home for sale. In the Winter time traditionally less people are house hunting, but all it takes is one person to be the right person to buy your home. *Image courtesy of Facebook.comExpecting zero interest on holidaysYou might expect that house hunters will not be looking at homes on a holiday or snow day, but this is not always the case. Serious buyers do not always have an abundance of time to find their next dream home and this means if your home is on their short list of homes to see you will not want to miss an opportunity for them to see it even if it is an inconvenient day for you to show it. Image courtesy of Soilmatter.wordpress.comNot having your home prepared for a showingWhen your home is on the market it needs to always be ready for potential buyers to come and see it. This means your driveway and walkway need to be clear of any ice or safety hazards. The last thing you would want is for someone to come and tour your home and slip and fall. Keep salting supplies on hand and pay attention to the weather report. *Image courtesy of Docksiderealty.caPricing your home to highThere is less people house hunting in the colder months, so it is vital that you do not over price your home and turn off buyers before they even see your home. Be sure to do your research and price your home competitively so you get as many people as possible in to see it. If your home is listed and it is overpriced most likely you will have to do a price reduction and in the meantime it is time on the market that your home could have already sold in.

What’s Happening This Weekend in Grand Junction

What’s Happening This Weekend in Grand Junction*Inage courtesy of Collegiatereviw.orgMarch has officially begun, and Spring is right around the corner.
