Distinctive Generation Group
Challenging the Traditional Approach to Real Estate

Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties had a very, very busy February. In addition to a $10,000 giveaway, Marketing Roadshow, and many additions to our roster, our very own Distinctive Generation group made their debut.
The Distinctive Generation group was founded on the principal that real estate, and how a home is purchased, has changed drastically. Keenan Coit, a foundation member explains, "Real Estate agents have seen themselves as lone soldiers trying to get business on their own."
Realizing that his own generation had a very different way of approaching life in general, he reviewed the process of real estate from a totally different perspective:
"Millennials are staged to become the largest group of homebuyers ever. A recent statistic by the National Association of Realtors showed that for the second consecutive year that those 34 and younger composed 32 percent of all buyers. We need to capture this generation and learn how to market to them in the most effective way."
Months of brainstorming, research and collaboration brought a clear goal to the horizon and the idea of the Distinctive Generation was born: "A new wave of real estate agents have banded together, not as an official team, but as a group of young agents to collaborate together and challenge the traditional approach to real estate."
Concentrating their efforts on innovative marketing and social media, the Distinctive Gen Group focuses on encouraging one another. Selling listings faster, gaining online presence, and being the innovate group on the Western Slope are among the goals set out for this energetic squad.
Looking forward to the positive and upbeat influence these fine young entrepreneurs will bring to our valley and beyond.
