I was raised in Moab Utah with four brothers. My dad owned Pioneer Drilling Company and we spent lots of time in and around the Moab area prospecting for uranium.  Trips to Grand Junction were two hours away, but it was considered normal to come over for shopping, doctor appointments, picking up parts for the drill rig, or a good time.  I treasure a letter written to my dad and grandfather from Grand Junction in 1954 telling them their Geiger Counter was ready for pick-up.     Aft... read more

3 years ago, Coldwell Banker Commercial joined with Grand Junction Economic Planning to discuss the future growth of Grand Junction. Among the topics, was of course, Public Safety. Three years ago in 2016, a live survey was taken at the Economic Summit sponsored by Coldwell Banker Commercial and Grand Junction Economic Partnership.
